Our Talent Patterns can fluctuate between our met needs, where these Talent Patterns are developed into Strengths that serve, becoming an energy asset for self and others, and thus, allowing for effective Contributions. To Overdrive and Underuse Patterns of behaviours where certain things become Triggers, causing our Strengths to become weaknesses where they no longer serve us or others. Our Triggers differ as they are specific to each type and character of Strengths.
On these 34 Strength Info Cards below you will find a place to write in the individual Contributions, Needs, Overdrive/Underuse Patterns and Triggers (when in the 'Circle of Toxicity).
These are colour-coded into one of four domains. Two fall onto the Relational Axis - Influencing and emotional Relationship Building which are driven by relationship. Two onto the Tasks Axis - Strategic Thinking and Executing which are driven by tasks. We might say individuals who lead from the Relational Axis relate to the world through people, and individuals who lead from the Tasks Axis relate to the world through thinking and/or doing.
As you go through your learning of the 34 Strengths, begin to write down what you see as the
Contributions; Needs; Overdrive/Underuse Patterns; and Triggers. Ask others in your group to assist you by asking how their Strengths and Talent Patterns play out for them.
